The linked video showcases some thoughts from one our leaders… or so it seems.
Granted, I had NEVER heard of Rep. Paul Kanjorski before I watched this video. What he SAYS is amazing to extent that he can just throw his hands in the air and ask some discontent lady to solve the monetary problems. She can't pay her $600 utility bill, and seems ready to jump off a building, as she complains that she makes TOO money much to get food stamps earning $10 per hour. For this guy, Capital Markets Subcommittee chair to be utterly clueless is amazing.
...and he wants to give her the reins?
HOW am I the only one that finds this surreal?
This video banter feels like Joint effort between George Orwell and Ayn Rand, as NO one will take RESPONSIBILITY. They simply CANT do the jobs they have and don’t have the creativity and confidence to lie like a Nixon. I mean really, this guy got tripped up by a delusional crank caller and came off looking dumber than the prankster.
I have seen weak comedians just mangle a heckler by "thinking" on their feet ... who hasn't seen a heckler take a horrible beating? This guy gets crushed by some Mumu wearing lady drinking a 40 OZ Malt Liquor ...This would only be comical if it weren’t so serious of an exposure to the lack of brainpower at work in an important task.
So basically rappers and pro poker players should run the money and comedians should take the government… COULD THEY DO WORSE?
It's like the new bubble = I will call it the: "PETER-PRINCIPLE bubble"
Did everyone in the 1990s and 2000s jump ahead 2 or 3 skill sets above their competence levels?
Definition of the "Peter Principal" below:
http://pespmc1.vub.ac.be/PETERPR.html it takes 20 seconds to read this link to refresh the definition of the PROBLEM.
The spread between the number of people doing their jobs so poorly on every level of corporate America and the government's monetary policy/banking combined has widened almost proportionally to the original P&E’s of the early dot com stocks. Remember the time when people at worst tried to at least appear to be smart? If they at least TRIED to act, or look smart it would be a welcome change for a while… or a decade even. Let's just take two steps back and at least fake it for a while.
Give us Mike Milken's brains again before the system melts further ...
